2023 Fellowship Artists

Meet The Artists

The Fellowship Artist Program is one of our longest-running SummerFest traditions. For over 30 years, young artists and ensembles from the program have gone on to lead major orchestras and win international competitions and awards, including the Avery Fisher Career Grant, the Fischoff Competition, and the Banff International String Quartet Competition. They’ve all launched successful careers, and many have returned to the festival as senior musicians.

We’re proud to welcome seven talented emerging musicians from The Juilliard School and the Colburn School as our SummerFest 2023 Fellowship Artists.

The Quartet Integra and trioJEM will participate in Coaching Workshops, perform in Encounters and Musical Preludes, and share the stage with other SummerFest artists during their four-week residencies in La Jolla.
