Observe the intricate rehearsal process that goes into every SummerFest performance and engage in conversation with the artists during post-rehearsal Q&As.
Coaching Workshops
Follow our Fellowship Artist Ensembles as they prepare for their festival performances with a series of master classes conducted by artists from the SummerFest roster.
Encounters
Encounters are free afternoon events, featuring lectures, discussions, and performances. These events explore the ways music is created, influenced, interpreted, and performed. Registration to attend is required.
Artist Lounges
Artist Lounges are intimate, in-depth conversations hosted by our Artistic Director Leah Rosenthal. Discover more about our SummerFest artists in a warm, intimate setting.
Preludes
Ticket holders are invited to join us in The JAI an hour prior to performances to hear musical and historical insights through engaging interviews and fascinating lectures by our esteemed roster of scholars.
Free Community Concert
Join us on Thursday, August 10 at 7:30 PM at the First Unitarian Universalist Church of San Diego for our annual FREE Community Concert featuring our 2023 Fellowship Artists! Registration required.
Fellowship Artists
Quartet Integra and trioJEM will participate in Coaching Workshops, perform in Encounters and Musical Preludes, and share the stage with other SummerFest artists during their four-week residencies in La Jolla.
